Alka Forage

AlkaForage is a unique product from the processing of Oatfeed pellets with Home n’ Dry mixed back with Alkagrain. The process releases Ammonia which acts on the fibre in the Oatfeed, improving nutritional properties, The Mix of Starch and fibre create a unique raw material suitable for replacing Forage but also feeding alongside grass silage

​With acidosis being a real threat to the well-being and performance of high producing cows, any product which can help to manage rumen pH and provide good digestible fibre alongside high starch which creates a valuable feed material to have available.
